The “NCAP Next Steps” meeting hosted by NCAP Division Chief Jennifer Dang at DOT Headquarters in Washington DC included the introduction of the 10 Star Speed Safety Ratings System.

The work of Professor Kennerly Digges of the Automotive Safety Research Institute, the person given the task to create NCAP for DOT in 1979, the world’s first auto safety ratings, was confirmed by Christopher O’Connor CEO of Humanetics Innovative Solutions as the founder of Humanoid Crash Testing Dummies that now have a full rib cage and increased abilities to even measure impact forces from a collision to our internal organs.

The work of all the NCAP testing being done around the world during this last year or so for assist and automatic driving technologies that now even include pedestrian and bicycle automatic braking are defining how all these safety systems need to be tested.

All this work by our scientists that contribute to our Global NCAP for Occupant Crash Protection and Collision Avoidance is all based on the one and only measurement for rating transportation safety, SPEED.

HOW FAST CAN IT GO and HOW SAFE IS IT ??

The best way to the fastest updates to any safety standard is to use an already existing and commonly known system like More Stars For Safer Cars.

My officially publicly submitted works offer speed as the solution for measurement of transportation that encourages us all to expect more safety at higher speeds.
