10 Star Speed Safety Ratings System Label Example

The 10 Star Speed Safety Label System is included in this research.

The NHTSA has notified the public of the budget for Consumer Research in the Federal Register. The purpose is to initiate public study groups in select areas of the United States for input on proposed NCAP Updates.

This design will simplify and clarify all the information on the NCAP Label. This design is also about creating a competitive drive for manufacturers to increase our road vehicle crash protection and collision avoidance safety with proof under specified testing parameters at increasingly higher speed.

To Simply Expect Higher Safety Results At Higher Speeds

Per a more recent Notice in the Federal Register, the NHTSA also discussed what they needed for their NCAP web site support. They mentioned using check-marks so I incorporate their requirements into the 10-Star speed based design to show what technologies are in the vehicles.

Years of persistence and patience now come down to the best proof possible to initiate these NCAP updates, public approval.

This is also the first time that the NHTSA has stated that they will consider changes to the title of the consumer program. (From; the existing 5-Star Safety Merit Ratings / To; a new 10-Star Speed Safety Ratings)
